WebView 2.3 offers a lot of new functionality:

• Transparent layers from ArcGIS9
  There is no conversion necassary to build the transparent layers and therefore no graphic program. The GIFs can be directly exported from ArcGIS.  
• Transparent layers from ArcView 3.x
  There is no conversion necassary to build the transparent layers and therefore no graphic program. The GIFs can be directly exported from ArcView 3.x by using an integrated gif-converter.  
• Data from Database
  You can use now also Layers from a Personal Geodatabase (ACCESS) to perform your Website.
• Table functions
  There are some new functions to use the table informations within WebView 2.3

WebView is available in two versions for ArcView GIS 3.x as well as ArcGIS (ArcView) 9.x:
WebView Standard and WebView Professional.

WebView Standard: provides Standard functionality like detail map and overview map, legend and scale bar, and zoom, pan, identify and hotlink.

WebView Professional: provides additional functionality like transparent layers (toggle visibility of layers), object layers (search for attributes) and additional zoom levels.
